PRIVACY

Privacy by design.

We protect identity by collecting almost nothing. Below is current practice — what we ask for, what we never ask for, what we never share. The formal privacy policy is in final legal review.

Current practice

What we collect, what we don't.

What we ask for
A phone number — to send the gift card by text. A ZIP code — to connect requests to a community fund.
What we never ask for
No name. No address. No story. No proof of need. No documentation. No income verification. No photo. No demographic information.
What we never share
Recipients are never visible to donors. Donors are never visible to recipients. Phone numbers are visible only to the platform — for delivery only.
Quick Exit
Every recipient-facing page has a Quick Exit button — a one-click way to leave for safety reasons. Built for survivors of domestic violence and anyone whose situation requires it.
How data flows

Where information goes, and where it doesn't.

Recipient phone numbers are used by Twilio to send the gift card text. ZIP codes route requests to community funds. Donor information is processed by Stripe for payment. Gift card delivery happens through Tremendous. None of these vendors share data with each other beyond what's necessary to deliver one gift card to one phone.

Final policy

The formal policy is in legal review.

The principles above are accurate. The legal language is being finalized.

What you read above describes how ENTREVERSO actually handles your information today. The full privacy policy — including data retention windows, your rights to access or delete records, breach notification, and contact procedures — is being drafted with our legal counsel and will be published before public launch.
