HOW ENTREVERSO WORKS

Two paths. One community.

How a request gets answered. How a $15 donation reaches a real person — without a story, a form, or a wait.

If you need support

The recipient path

Phone and ZIP. The community sends a gift card by text. No name. No story. No proof.

If you can give

The donor path

$15 covers one person. Recurring monthly is offered. Direct peer-to-peer — no platform cut. Public totals. Private recipients.

The recipient path · 3 steps

Send your ZIP. The community responds.

STEP 01
Send your ZIP
A phone number and a ZIP code. That's it. No name, no story, no proof of need, no documentation. Phone is for the gift card text. ZIP connects you to your local community fund.
STEP 02
The community responds
Donor contributions — funded $15 at a time — cover your request. Most are filled within 72 hours. Some may take up to a week.
STEP 03
Gift card arrives by text
Choose a retailer that fits — CVS, Walgreens, or Target. The gift card is sent to your phone. You shop on your time. No one knows your name.
The donor path · 3 steps

$15 finds a real person.

STEP 01
Donate
$15 covers one person — the most common contribution. Or any amount you choose. Recurring monthly is offered, and one-time also works.
STEP 02
You're matched
Your contribution goes to a recipient in queue. Real person, real need. No story required from them. No story owed to you.
STEP 03
Confirmation arrives
A confirmation when your donation lands. A 24-hour follow-up confirming it reached a recipient. No identifying information shared either way — protecting privacy on both sides.
How money flows

Two streams. Never mixed.

The way ENTREVERSO is funded protects what reaches recipients. Donor contributions and operational costs are kept apart by design — not by accounting tricks.

Stream 1 · Contribution

Donor money → Recipient

Every donation goes directly to a recipient — no platform cut. Donors fund recipients. That's the only thing donor contributions do.

Stream 2 · Operations

Impact Partners → Operations

Companies, faith communities, and civic organizations fund the platform — separately. They pay to be part of the community. Recipients never fund operations.

The rule. Recipients are never asked to fund. Donors are never asked to receive. The two streams are kept separate, always.
What we ask for, what we don't

Privacy by design.

What we ask for
A phone number — to send the gift card by text. A ZIP code — to connect requests to a community fund.
What we never ask for
No name. No address. No story. No proof of need. No documentation. No income verification. No photo. No demographic information.
What we never share
Recipients are never visible to donors. Donors are never visible to recipients. Phone numbers are visible only to the platform — for delivery only.
Quick Exit
Every recipient-facing page has a Quick Exit button — a one-click way to leave for safety reasons. Built for survivors of domestic violence and anyone whose situation requires it.
Questions people ask

The questions we hear most.

Trust + structure
Is ENTREVERSO real?
+
Yes. ENTREVERSO is a Public Benefit Corporation registered in South Carolina. We launched in May 2026 in select U.S. states. The community is real — donors, recipients, scouts, and Impact Partners. Verify our PBC registration through South Carolina's public business records, and reach us anytime at hello@entreverso.org.
Is ENTREVERSO a nonprofit?
+
No — we're a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC). A PBC is a for-profit entity legally bound to serve a stated public mission alongside its commercial activity. We chose this structure for ENTREVERSO because it fits our specific goals: building technology, iterating quickly on product, and moving with the speed our recipients need. Nonprofits do essential work — the 501(c)(3) structure makes sense for many missions and the organizations doing it. For ENTREVERSO's particular work, the PBC structure was the right fit. The trade-off: contributions are not tax-deductible.
How the platform works
How is ENTREVERSO funded?
+
Two streams, never mixed. Donor contributions go to recipients as support — every donation reaches a person who needs it, with no platform cut. Operations are funded separately by Impact Partners — companies, faith communities, and civic organizations who pay to be part of the community. Recipients never fund operations. Donors never fund operations either. The streams are kept separate by design.
How fast does support arrive after I send my ZIP?
+
Most requests are filled within 72 hours. Some may take up to a week. When a donor's contribution covers your request, you receive a text with a gift card link. Choose your retailer (CVS, Walgreens, or Target) and shop on your own time. No appointment, no follow-up required.
If you need support
What do you need from me to send support?
+
A phone number and a ZIP code. That's it. No name, no story, no proof of need, no documentation. Phone is so we can text your gift card. ZIP is so we can connect your request to the community fund in your area. Neither is shared with donors. We don't ask, and we don't keep records beyond what's needed to send support.
What if I'm not in one of your states yet?
+
We're starting in select U.S. states and expanding. If you're not in our current footprint, your request can't be fulfilled today — but tell us where you are. Email hello@entreverso.org with just your state. When we reach your area, we'll let you know.
